What’s it all about? See the origin story below.
Supernova Support was born one rainy afternoon in 2021 on the side of the road next to a neglected orchard in west Sonoma County. Over the car phone speaker, Karen desperately confessed to her old Bootleg Honeys bandmate a deep-seated belief that was holding her back from writing, singing, and performing songs like she used to.
Deep down, I don't believe I'm good enough.
After a good laugh, Katie realized she was serious.
But I never feel that way about you, Katie. I'm 100% confident in your abilities.
That's when a true torrent of laughter cascaded through the speaker.
Karen, that's exactly what I think of you.
Like the runaway energy produced when two dying stars orbit each other, the friends realized the shared strength of mutual belief and encouragement not only helped, but actually supercharged their individual efforts.
With that discovery in mind, they developed a unique approach to ignite songwriting capacities within a supportive community that recognizes the premiere importance of identifying internal/external critical voices that keep us from intentionally cultivating craft. When combined, the three elements unleash supernova power resulting in an unstoppable explosion of creativity and growth too amazing not to share.
